A Wedding in My Future?
On Saturday I took Sophia to the craft store with me. On our way out, she saw a display of wedding cakes. This is the conversation we had:
S: Mom, I need a wedding cake.
Me: What for?
S: To marry Jordan. (Jordan is a boy from daycare.)
Me: When are you marrying Jordan?
S: When I have the wedding cake. Maybe we could ask Sonja when a good day is.
Me: Do you need a cake to marry Jordan?
S: Yes. You need a cake, and you have to dance together.
Me: Huh, I didn’t know.
S: So, can we get a wedding cake so I can marry Jordan?
Me: Sure, in another 30 years we’ll do that.
I had no idea that I would be having a discussion about getting married with my 3.5 year old daughter! 
Though, I’ll admit, Jordan’s a cutie, he’s very nice, and his mom is great. They may not make bad in-laws… LOL
