I’m Picasso!
Well, not exactly. But I did paint today! We now have one room (out of 11) that is a color other than cream. And it feels great. I started with Sophia’s room. It went from cream to lavendar. It’s very vibrant! I’m not a huge fan of purple, but she is and it matched her wall hangings we had. I’m really happy with how well it turned out. I could sit in her room for hours feeling happy. (The color is that vibrant. It just makes me feel happy.)
I’m now waiting for a week when I don’t have any work to do. Then I’ll tackle Drew’s. I think we’re going to do a green of some sort in his room. I have to pick the color still. But after seeing Phia’s room, I want something bright and happy. The kids bathroom will be after Drew’s, and it’ll be a sunny yellow. It feels so good to do this. It makes the house feel more like our house. We’ve lived here for over 2 years and have lived with this cream the whole time. Now we get to pick colors we like and make it feel like home.
The best news? Phia LOVES her pink and purple room! (Her curtains are pink. And they look fantastic against the lavendar walls!)
ETA: This was actually written, and posted, on Nov. 25. For some reason I cannot figure out how to change the date. I’ve tried doing it in the admin section, but it just won’t work. Anyone have suggestions?!
