Bo*rat
Dale and I went to see Bo*rat tonight. Ron wasn’t interested so he volunteered to watch the kids. I wasn’t sure what I’d think of the movie based on different reviews I’d heard. Now that I’ve seen it, I have to say it was pretty funny.
I know some people have said that he was being mean-spirited, and he does break some social conventions. However, after seeing the movie, most of it had to have been set up. Seriously. They act pretty well that it is difficult to tell, but there are some scenes that would have had to have been set up for safety. Maybe some weren’t, like when he’s just talking with people, but others are definitely (like the scene with Pam*ela Ander*son).
Still, I walked out of there laughing. And still laughing when I think about it. I hope people aren’t seriously offended by the movie. I do believe it was done in humor. I would never do/say some of the things he did, but that’s true in most of the movies I see. So all in all, it was pretty funny and I do recommended it.
